February 8, 2024 - Amazingly fresh, free running, juicy and well build. It's a bistro wine, for sure, but a very serious one at that, the quality of the fruit speaks for itself - vintageassisted of course. No signs of decline whatsoever, could go on, though not necessarily gain much - it is what it is, very honest wine, well dressed withour being posh or sleak. Gains weight, turns darker

August 25, 2020 - Super-hard and tannic on opening. Drank half with grilled lamb chop, which helped it some, but still harsh. Placed remainder in 375ml bottle with zero headspace. Next day, tannins softened by half, cherry fruit came out, but still a might tannic for my taste. Maybe it's a long ranger(?), maybe it's just mean.

May 18, 2015 - Medium-full body with some glycerin. Notes of dark cherries and dust at first. Opened up over time, revealing more dusty earth, then sweaty leather. Seemed to reach its peak about 45 minutes in, then it started disintegrating slowly 60 minutes in, seemingly hotter and exhibiting a thinner, medium profile marked by notes of violets and hay, resembling really more of a Southern Rhone. 13.5% ABV.
Should be in its prime in 2016.
