October 27, 2023 - Great, perhaps not as good as ‘98 or ‘01, but nevertheless. A bit of the age peak funk, but fruit still lively, nice finish and pleasant nose.

July 15, 2023 - Still good but a bit faded. Drink up

July 19, 2022 - Massive oak is still dominate 20 years later. That's what the small barrels are for. Plenty of dark fruit flavors abound. Still feels fresh & lively. Good for many more years.

December 26, 2021 - Undeniably Aussie and undeniably well made. This shows poise and structure, promising years of drinking pleasure. Notes of dark fruit, chocolate, expensive Shiraz signature and clean, long finish. It was worth the wait. Very lovely.

October 23, 2019 - One off bought years ago. I think I like Shiraz more at the time of purchase.

(YALUMBA OCTAVIUS SHIRAZ) #1; COLOR-dark; NOSE-little charcoal & pencil shavings; smokey; milk chocolate; vibrant & explosive plum meets pomegranate; TASTE-extremely good; lot of tannins; great structure on the mid-palate; great explosive fruit; very smooth & elegant; a little hint of Old World (Northern Rhone) on the finish; WS-96; GV-94
