August 16, 2010 - Minneapolis Wine Club Aussie Shiraz (My House): 60% Shiraz/40% Cabernet Sauvignon. A nice wine with raisin, plum, pepper and spice on the nose. Very earth focused on the palate and medium finish.

May 31, 2009 - Decatned a half hour. Full of big bold black berries both on the nose and palate. Perhaps a slight raisiny touch. Nice tannins that last for quite a while. Medium to long finish. A lack of pepper/spice that I prefer in a shiraz but even without that, this is a very nice wine. The fruit is huge. Served with a rib eye steak, sweet potatoes roasted in cumin and other spices, caesar salad and a some baguette. Not quite 'outstanding' as per CT scale, but close.
