December 3, 2020 - This has not held up well. Funk on the nose. Tannins lessen rich blackberry fruit and overall a disappointment. Didn’t get better with long decant.

February 19, 2019 - Still drinking beautifully. Subtle nose, but interesting. Elegant but solid tannins.
Nice dark fruits still with a slight hint of chocolate on the palette. Good long finish. -

October 1, 2017 - Did a double-decant and left the bottle unopened about 4 hours. This is still very aromatic and still showing 2ndary fruit characteristics. It improved to the last glass, so I would recommend decant at least 1 hour before opening. There is a bit of sediment, so be careful. The flavors were a little disjointed initially, but came together with air. I think this easily has 5 years left as it moves into a tertiary phase...eventually.
