February 14, 2022 - This is a wonderful St. Emilion with a gorgeous ruby color. Just a little more fruit than most of its contemporaries which I love, complex, elegant, great structure, and fine finish.

November 13, 2021 - Beautiful Dark ruby color, licorice on the nose. 2 hour decant and this blossomed into an incredible, bold and complex black fruit with cherry overtone. Leather and mushrooms in the core. Wonderful long finish with some mineral. Great with steak.

February 26, 2014 - Bordeaux tasting (Trapezaria restaurant): Clear, deep purple color.
Clean, medium intensity, fully developed in the nose showing the classic old red Bordeaux decadence, fully riped fruit, sweet/vanilla scented oak, redcurrant, tobacco, smoke, creme de cassis, leather and chocolate.
The wine is dry, medium body, medium intensity, high alcohol (15%), medium acidity, tannisn dissolved, high alcohol impact, lacking intensity in the mouth, chocolate spiced, black pepper, medium finish.
Outstanding quality, ultra premium price (would retail at 250 euros) , drink now rather than later.

October 13, 2013 - Took to dinner at a local restaurant and served with a very nice puligny montrachet. Not as good as previous bottles; with a very nice nose, but more noticeable tannin in the finish. Served with medallions of beef tenderloin.

February 23, 2013 - Double decanted about an hour before serving at a local restaturant. Served with 1982 La Lagune and 1989 Rausan Segla. Full fruit, soft round texture and flavors of casis with good length. Paled a bit in comparision with the other 2 Bordeaux and tasted almost like a cross between a Bordeaux and California Cab due to the texture and fruit. While a very nice wine, lacks a strong sense of place. Still, ready to drink and should be around for awhile (5+ years).
