May 11, 2019 - Opened well during the first hour - benefited from this. Thight and elegant, and at the same time mature. Melted in with the roasted deer. Long finish.

May 4, 2013 - Deep red. Lovely, concentrated aromas of dark fruit/blackberries, pepper, minerals and earth. Full, yet juicy mouth feel, excellent acids, moderate tannins and long finish. Excellent wine, and one of the few occasions that I have been impressed by a Syrah. Drunk with entrecote of deer from the charcoal grill.
