Community Tasting Notes 2

January 12, 2013 - Cherry, mint, earth, and hay on the nose. Velvety entry with smoky cherry and roasted meat. The finish really lingers with a spicy kick on the backside. This is a nice wine, particularly for the price...complexity of a premier cru.

June 18, 2006 - Dark fruits with a bit of a unappealing roasted edge. Much better on the palate with an earthiness and acidic bite that keeps the flavors in order. Largely scaled for its level. Quite enjoyable.

Rockss and Fruit

(Colin-Deleger Santenay) This is the perfect time to be drinking this wine. Brambly berry fruit on the nose. Not much terroir to speak of but very pleasant. Great fruit complexity on the palate. Crunchy vibrant fruit and cuts a deep swath across the palate. Great ripeness and sweet fruit. Delicious.
