March 20, 2020 - I very much enjoyed this wine found in the back of the cellar. Purchased at the winery. Holding up fine and nuanced. Impressive for what it is and what it costs.

I think this is a cold-weather wine, meaning it would pair much better with heavier foods than lighter ones. Not enjoyable on its own, but much more so with food. Would probably benefit from another 1-2 years in bottle, plus some air time after opening. I'm not running back to buy more, but the wine is not flawed in its construction and needs to be thoughtfully paired with food to be properly appreciated.
