November 26, 2020 - Tonight this bottle was spectacular. Purchased from a perfect cellar that has had it since release. Cork looked brand new. Wine blossomed with air, dried fruit, herbs, leather, meat, spice. A hint of tannin that lasted the 5 hours it took to drink. Great freshness. Awesome stuff. Wine is fantastic. Storage is the main variable. As it usually is.

October 16, 2020 - This was very good and is just about finished. Decant it and serve at a cooler cellar temperature to hold it together. Nice dried fruit on the nose, typical aged garrigue on the palate. Will not improve with any further age, so drink up.

April 27, 2018 - This bottle was much better than the one I had last month, with good color and earthy tones in the bouquet. Plenty of fruit for its age, some mineral notes and ample acidity. An excellent mature CNP.

March 9, 2018 - Saw this wine at a good price, so I decided to see if it still had something in the tank. The color was cloudy, and the the nose was subdued. On the palate, ripe but faded red and dark fruit, some other interesting flavors, modest acidity. This bottle was well past its prime, but still provided a bit of enjoyment.

March 9, 2018 - Deep garnet color. Black fruit and some earth/iron on a pleasant nose. Still some tight tannins, but very nice fruit on the palate. Can easily go another 3-5 years but very good now.
