April 1, 2008 - Wow...what an unbelievable value. This wine has huge tannins and dark purple color. It has a very long finish and the fruit is amazing. It is a little lacking on the nose, but it simply attacks the palate. It has some floral notes to it as well as some big aussie fruit bomb or even jammy zinfandel characteristics. It is almost like if I took a dolcetto, mixed with a zinfandel, mixed with the fruit from an aussie shiraz. It really coats your mouth and sticks around for a long time. I'm going to buy a case of this stuff.
