October 8, 2023 - Gorgeous showing tonight - this wine is absolutely at peak, still fresh and fruit-driven, with notes of raspberry liqueur, black cherry, fennel, balsam, and cocoa. It has such a seamless, silky texture, great purity, and a little touch of RS. Totally elegant and self-possessed CDP, one of the best I have tasted in a long time, (including the 2019 and 2020 Senechaux.) This bottle I acquired from Benchmark must have been very well-kept.

August 6, 2023 - More earthy than my last tasting. Apparent iodine and a lot more earthy notes this time. More dried cherry notes present, too. Tannins are fairly well resolved and my sense from this bottle is that we are just slightly over the peak here. Still a bracing acidity persists. Bone dry with lovely medium body.
Very enjoyable.
