June 12, 2022 - Let's fucking go, what a wine! Deep garnet in the glass with loads of sediment. First sniff is a bomb - baked bread, dried figs, dried plums, redcurrant, thyme, sage and rosemary. Medium-bodied with soft tannins, moderate acidity and alcohol. Fully developed, at the right place right now, no development from here on.

July 1, 2021 - A blend of 60% Frappato di Vittoria and 40%. Medium ruby colour, with a notable amount of sediment. Red cherry, red fruit, complex spice notes, cedar box, leather, tobacco, and balsamic notes, with lively acidity, mostly resolved tannin and very good length. Medium-bodied, balanced and harmonious. Equally enjoyable on day two. In a very good place, and fully mature with no upside, drink now.

May 7, 2020 - Det här är rävligt bra!
Blint hade jag nog hamnat i Chianti, eller Sangiovese från Mexiko eller annan "skum" italienare.
Blekt i färgen med mognadsinslag, en doft med visst några körsbär, men mer av höstlöv, lakrits och dov choklad (utan ekfat). Stor, mogen och vänligt kryddig doftpalett.
I munnen är det slankt, typ kallmörat. Syrorna är på samma våglängd som Sangiovese, men med tanniner som man kan misstänka lugnat ned sig. Ringer inte in som varken Nebbiolo eller PN. Som Barolo/Barbaresco är den både för ung och för gammal för att platsa. Som PN har den för mycket krut, både bränt och kvar.
Ett par små körsbär, vackert jordig mineralitet och vi har ett vin som spritter av livsglädje och energi!
60% Frappato di Vittoria och 40% Nero d'Avola. 13% och med begynnande mognad. 92p. Dricker det mycket gärna fler gånger. Mums!
