November 3, 2023 - This wine has been transferred and decanted into a bordeaux bottle half an hour before tasting.

    First taste:
Vermillion to brick pale color, brilliant and clear, with orange in the edge.
Complex aromas of red fruits ham, roasted (stewed) prunes and vegetal scents, menthol and also coffee. Swirling the glass we can appreciate sweet spiced wood, cinnamon, clove and star anise. When we stop swirling the glass these flavors fall down, appearing again vegetal, underwood, toasted and coffee aromas, much more dense and estable.

Sipping it, we can appreciate good acidity. The wine immediately grows and expands on the palate with ham sweet flavors, macerated herbs, coffee and licorice. Spiced wood and menthol scents in the afternose and long aftertaste of Fernett-Branca and Herbal Liqueur in the memory.
The wine is not in its climax, of course, but it’s still alive and shows the attributes of a really good mature wine.

    Second taste:
Half bottle left, taste 15h after,
More or less the same aromas and flavors. The wine hasn’t fallen down, and when we sniff it, the aroma probability has increased a little bit, and the acidity is still the same and the wine well balanced.

July 9, 2022 - Initially seemed over the fill but opened up magnificently with time in the glass with ripe stewed fruit and more tobacco than a cigar convention in Havana. Great wine. Think it'll last forever.

December 14, 2017 - Orangebrun. Negllakkfjerner ved åpning. Tobakk, jord, sopp. Død frukt. Den henger fremdeles sammen, såvidt! Alle gjettet gammel burgund.

November 10, 2017 - Mature Rioja @ Medlar (Medlar, London): Unknown vintage, but around 73 judging by colour. A bit of a mess along the lines of a previous bottle of this — seems to have taken on a swimming pool chemical concoction. Shame.
