January 19, 2019 - (Decanted for two hours before dinner)
Lovely mature nose showing coffee, red berries and perfume in a seductive and pleasing way, not showing the warm fruit that it had a few years ago. Smooth tannins on the well balanced palate showing morello cherry and fresh herbs. Nice and lengthy finish still showing some of the warmth of the vintage. Mature and almost fully evolved this bottle was both working very well with tonight’s dinner, as well as something to sip on afterward.

September 2, 2017 - Maturing nose showing smokiness and fresh herbs. Smoothing tannins with drying fruit. Feels as if it's ready to drink, but tonight it matched the fillet of deer perfectly.

March 4, 2016 - Very nice and mature nose showing leather, tobacco and dried herbs. Lovely and fresh palate showing a nice long finish. This is in a very sweet spot right now! But can be saved a while longer.

June 27, 2015 - Brickred colour. Very mature nose showing dried herbs, leather, cedar and wet soil. Lovely and vibrant mature palate with a very long well-balanced finish. Decanted for an hour, but should have waited 2-3 hours. Drinking really nicely right now, but can probably keep for a while longer.
