January 25, 2012 - Ex-cellar. Purple-garnet, no obvious signs of age, good concentration. Sandalwood and cedar bouquet, then more cedar again, fat cured meats. Very nice. Youthful in the mouth, plum fruit, cedar. Good lift on the finish, grainy tannins, acidity, fruit kernels, oak, everything integrated. Very nice. Textbook temperate climate Merlot.

January 4, 2012 - Vale do Vinhedos (Vale do Vinhedos, RS): Garnet. Nice, youthful nose, sandalwood, cherry, good fruit expression. Refreshing medium bodied palate, crisp fruit. Unadulterated and pure in its expression.
