Community Tasting Notes 11

September 30, 2021 - Decanted. Lots of fine sediment. Consumed over 3 hours with no fall off of nose or palate. Really solid bottle of wine. Balanced, structured, complex, not youthful but definitely not aged. Excited to have a few more of these in the cellar.

May 1, 2009 - Winot's description on 4/2 is how I'd describe our experience tonight. Outstanding wine. Loved the handwritten info on the bottle!

April 2, 2009 - Nice wine, tasty, crisp not heavy-youthful purple/maroon colour- nose is ripe berry bowl, some mineral notes- palate is big blueberry and blackberry fruit-has good energy, mid weight, long finish; very nice bottle of wine - big flavours w/o being over-extracted or heavy.

February 15, 2009 - Got the herbal/Cab Franc thang that others remarked on. Not as tired as I expected after seeing Jared's note. Nice nose of dark fruits, roasted green peppers, pepper, spice, and celery. On the palate, enjoyed the celery seed component I have been getting out of alot of older WA syrahs. More dark fruits, dried herbs, and that green veggie thang on the palate. Nice wine but nowhere near the umph of the Callioux Rediviva.
