December 30, 2016 - This started out at about 85-86 points when I first opened the bottle. Aroma was not "off" but just not right. Almost over-ripe and prune-ish. We didn't start drinking the wine for a few hours.
Fast forward a few hours and the wine settled down to reveal a lot of spices and dark fruit. Not a lot of oak, but enough. On the palate the wine was quite soft and lingering. Good fruit and flavors throughout. -
