  July 20, 2023 - Lovely. Has mellowed with time. Now showing more complexity. Meaty, plummy, with dried fruit och dried herbs, very ripe, dense and long. Excellent. Needs red meat.

  November 28, 2013 - Drank this "monster" again, and not much has changed since last year. Restrained nose. Very robust and beefy palate. Loads of alcohol. On Day 2, the fruit started to emerge. On Day 3, the wine gained in depth. The high alcohol puts me off, but there seems to be some ageing potential here. Won't open another bottle for at least 5 years.

  June 6, 2012 - Dark blood red colour. After opening, there was almost only alcohol, both on the nose and palate. Hints of vanilla. With air, some cabernet fruit started to emerge, but it is overwhelmed by the oak. On the palate, this is a robust, beefy red with a full body, quite sweet on the finish. I will continue to cellar some bottles of this in the hope that it will become more "civilised". Though it will probably remain a strong drink even in the future. Too expensive for what it is.
