  July 28, 2021 - Fill into the neck, cork in excellent condition. Dark crimson/purple color with no signs of bricking. Lots of tobacco leaf, leather, green pepper, and some coriander on the nose. Medium to full body, with abundant cedar notes, lively acidity, red currant, and chewy but balanced tannins. Still seems to have a lot of life left.

  May 4, 2018 - This was a beautiful wine. It had very good color, and a lovely nose or pencil shavings and fruitiness - once it opened up. It still had good fruit (red and some dark), good balance, a lightness (in a good sense) on the palate) and a nice finish. Maybe just a bit lacking in depth????
  Stated another way, this was a beautifully mature California Cabernet that we were lucky enough to have enjoyed.

  May 10, 2008 - Cal Poly Pomona Wine Dinner (Kellogg Ranch - Pomona, CA): Another interesting wine to taste. Notes of varnish, jalepeno peppers, cherry, and cedar. Surprisingly fresh and quite enjoyable. 87-88 points.
