May 29, 2016 - Coravin; G5; 4.5+8*+4*+8*+8.5+4*+4*; Upon opening, beautiful gem ruby color; light aromatics of vanilla raspberry; smooth acidic mouthfeel; add strawberry to the flavor profile; long mouth watering finish (partly due to the acid); balance is slightly off due to the higher acidity; color starts to oxidize quickly after opening (60-90 minutes) with some iron notes entering the scene. Overall, one of the better '11s with no glaring underripe green flaws except manifestation as acidity bordering on being too high.
