September 18, 2012 - Cassis, wild berries, green pepper, red and black licorice, black cherry, and caramel on the nose. Cassis, blackberry, black cherry, spice, vanilla, and on the palate. Juicy and tasty, with good structure and a nice finish. Needs a good amount of time to integrate. Improved each day over several days. 90+

April 14, 2012 - Friends and I tasted this at the winery on 4/14/12. It had a deep, dark, complex bouquet of black currant, black cherry, blackberry, chocolate, vanilla and spice aromas. The palate was rich, round and tasty with flavors that followed the nose.
