September 20, 2023 - So different from my last bottle. (That was VA flawed- vinegar/nail polish remover. Decanted 45 minutes. Pale ruby fading to garnet. Semi- translucent. Medium body, medium plus acidity, medium tannins. High toned nose of dark and bright cherries, cranberry, florals, vosne spice, cinnamon, tea, and a hint of anise. Nice long finish. Pretty and elegant. Great village wine!

July 5, 2023 - On the open, this bottle had vosne spice, and red fruit- and I am getting excited. Opened a few more minutes and the unmistakable nose of vinegar rears its ugly head. This bottle is severely impacted by volatile acidity. I have had several bottles of this wine in the last couple of years. Some great- village wine just below Suchots albeit at a lower point on the hill for all that entails- with the cranberry, raspberry spectrum, asian spices, earth, good minerality, and a nice persistence on the tongue. Some good, but not impressive. Unfortunately, other have been acidic, harsh, and austere. IMHO, this wine hits the issue…..the good ones not afflicted and the mediocre and poor (like this one) are VA tainted. Tant pis!

April 23, 2021 - Dark red fruit on the nose, spices and red fruit on the palate, still quite young.

October 21, 2020 - Black and dark red fruit, but also some cassis. Vosne spices, pepper, good density and length, still a young wine, excellent level.
