March 4, 2024 - Side by side tasting with the 2010 vintage. 2009 was a bit more complex and more fruit

February 2, 2024 - This is a Wow! wine from the first mouthful. I then needed to take a drink of water to clean my palate again, otherwise my tastebuds just don't react. An excellent wine.

October 28, 2023 - Double decanted for 2 hrs, deep ruby, cherries, raspberries & some chocolate, med. tannins, long finish; outstanding & just entering peak drinking, drink or hold, no rush. It tied for WOTN for me (with the 90 Pichon Baron) in a tough lineup.

September 17, 2022 - Lush nose. Long and expressive with herbs and subtle flowers. Bold tannins, could use a bunch more age. Solid backbone but not really off notes. Long finish with graphite and crushed Italian herbs.
Second day. Elegant complex nose. Medium berries and even stone fruit. Tannins still mouth coating. Extra long finish.

May 15, 2022 - Beautiful blue/purple color. Fantastic nose that lasted forever Slight oak, cherry, chocolate on the palate. Light tannins still present. Drinking perfectly now, but will keep 10yrs+. May improve further with time.
