November 27, 2022 - Ahhh now this is more like it; pale ruby; a beautiful nose which initially had a whiff of sous bois opens to show tart cherry and cranberry, orange peel, floral notes and wet stones. The palate is initially so delicate it is almost lacking in intensity and stuffing, but with about 45 min of air this blossoms and gains weight and depth. A classic Mitans of pure elegance. Lovely and drinking pretty close to maturity though likely no rush.

March 4, 2022 - A couple years since my last bottle, and definitely sensing some improvement. Pale ruby and garnet color in the glass. Upon initial opening quite aromatic and very front facing. The bouquet gives off very acute violet, flower garden, gooseberry, and touches of juicy stone fruit. With time more nuance emerges with more herbal, clay, and mineral elements. The palate is light on its feet yet showing good complexity. Profiles include cherry fruits, clay, mineral, stones, with tart red fruit and some rinds. Over time more stewed fruits emerge and the weight grows. Drinking perfectly at this time.

March 26, 2021 - Fine and aromatic, with a delicious mix of subtle berry flavours and savoury notes. Tannins neatly tucked into the fold.

July 22, 2020 - No formal notes, but almost surprisingly good. Had the start of a sappy bottle sweetness that I find so compelling on the palate. Light red fruits and herbs and minerals are the impressions I have about the aromas; but mostly this was about the texture for me. My first of a few, so excited to see where this ends up.
