April 13, 2023 - First bottle from this producer; started off with a bit of oak noted, but that fairly quickly dissipated; I didn't decant, just left open for about an hour prior to drinking; once the oak faded this had a lovely game/animal fur note alongside ripe plum and black currant, some definite forest floor and dried floral notes; the palate has good concentration and the lovely freshness that I love in 2010. Good now with upside ahead. This made me want to explore this producer a bit further.

September 3, 2022 - Vibrant colour. Old vine texture and 2010 tension and depth. Absolutely singing . Intense but balanced on the finish.

August 27, 2022 - beautifully aged with shy first signs of aging, but still with the full spectrum of aromas from Gevrey. Well balanced and structured and an almost endless elegant finish... Wow!

May 1, 2022 - A late bottle opened at the end of my birthday dinner. First from case . Tight to start but characteristic ripe but reserved 2010 fruit. Lot of depth and hidden subtleties. No hard corners, plush fruit. Drinking now but will improve

December 1, 2018 - During a Gevrey tasting dinner. Nose of bright red fruit, crisp and clean palate, wonderful 2010 energy. Still closed, tannins polished though. Needs to add a bit of complexity with age. Wait till 2022.
