April 16, 2022 - Dinner at Wah Lok. Deep garnet. Soft silky texture. Ripe with juicy red fruits - cherries and strawberries. Quite primary still. Overtly oaky notes absent in this Roty. Has the grace and elegance that makes Burgundian Pinots so attractive. Overall, this is a fine village wine, easily premier cru quality.

July 21, 2018 - Aroma of rose, violet, and strawberry but not sweet. Indistinctly elegant. The taste is, however, solid. Not earthy, a little bit meaty. Like a shaded Grand cru, nice.

July 11, 2017 - Tuesday Night Double Blind $50+ (Alpharetta, GA): See through ruby, light rim; cherries and cream, oaky, sour cherry, floral, sweet young fruit; good penetrating acid, almost a tea like component, luscious; young but quite tasty.
