October 1, 2023 - A little thin with pretty red berry fruit and some lasting fine tannin astringency. Not much fruit (not enough - for me) and some dry extract in there too.
Maybe this bottle is on the downhill slide, but color doesn’t appear that way.

March 8, 2023 - Enjoyed over 2 nights - very 3ry but with some sweetness, structure, and acidity. Good length. In a good place. Not really a score give

January 23, 2020 - Still very floral and elegant in the nose, apples, cherries, mints, strawberries, lavenders, roses, and animal furs; acidic and somewhat tight with lots of berries and some unresolved tannins on the palate; long finish; overall, evolved well compared to 3 years ago, so 92-93 points at this stage; should continue to evolve further judging from its acidity and structure.

July 13, 2019 - A frustrating disappointment. After enthusiastically reviewing the 2005 and 2008, and enjoying this highly consistent and good value Burgundy for over a decade, the 2010 is considerably underwhelming! A wonderfully graceful year that should be showing beautifully now, I am surprised at how forgettable this wine was. Very little on the nose - had to sniff hard to get some strawberry and a touch of woodsmoke and bacon fat. Not much in the way of flavours - some pretty fruit at the core, but not much else. Somewhat sour overall, and lacking acidity and vim. I think this wine is on the decline - and rapidly! Pity! Will need drinking up this year.

May 24, 2019 - The austere, dry tannins and wood undertones are a bit overwhelming for my tastes. The fruit is evasive and the finish rapidly disappears except for a lingering sour, tart cherry that doesn't necessarily invite the next sip. Oh well...
