January 23, 2022 - A big and rich Burgundy, with evident new oak on the nose despite its 12 years of age. Deep purple, alluringly cedary nose (with a hint of vanilla) and a plush mouthfeel with great depth of flavour, including a note of cherry heering. Seemed an outlier compared to the older Harmand-Geoffroy wines I've tried, more like an Arnoux-Lachaux of the same era, but despite the relative burliness it did make for a tasty and compelling drink.

December 25, 2020 - Opened a few hours ahead to determine decanting requirements. None needed. Tannins are subdued, yet perceptible on the finish. Subtle nose with typical raspberry, rhubarb, some smoke and nettle. The palate is pure silk, with those flavours more dominant than the nose. Lovely elegant concentration, beautiful light yet deep colour. Utterly beguiling in textural and sensory complexity. Day 2: possibly better yet, certainly no marked degradation, suggesting plenty of age in this one.

December 9, 2013 - Absolutely intoxicating nose. Deep dark raspberry, black cherry, slight cola. Very luxurious. Satin mouthfeel, great fruit. Im really having a hard time expressing my enjoyment on this one. Wow. And shows promising aging.

November 8, 2013 - The far north again, which supposedly bring a different temprement from the Mazis (or from the south). But hey, the mid palate is absolutely amazing.
