February 14, 2023 - Nice floral nose but palate was a bit rustic

June 9, 2017 - Toasty, earthy, with the fruit playing a supporting role. It seemed advanced in the beginning, but I think it may be due to whole clusters being used, as the wine seemed fresher after some air. Texturally, it was very nice, but I would hold for 2-3 years to let the flavors sort out (90-94 pts).

April 23, 2017 - From half bottle. Still fairly tight when opened and I left most of it for the next evening. On day two it showed really well, with the most tropical nose I've encountered in a red burg. Mango, litchi and melon, but with the purity and detail of quality pinot. Surprising, slightly odd, but delicious.

July 19, 2016 - The wine is a pale garnet colour.

The nose has a medium+ intensity of ripe and slightly dried strawberries, raspberries and some cherries, along with leafy, brambly notes, barnyard and some subtle vanilla and spice. Really quite well defined and complex - this wine is developing.

The palate is dry with medium+ acidity, medium alcohol, medium- body, medium ripe and quite firm tannins, a medium+ intensity and a medium+ finish. Lots of refreshing acidity, balanced flavours and a nice level of development in this one; delicious young Burgundy!

Very good quality Pinot Noir from Burgundy, France.

May 18, 2015 - Way too young. Best on day 3
