Red fruit is present with earthy spice. Tannins are completely resolved.
The finish is moderately long adding a very subtle hint of eucalyptus to the continuing earthy flavors. -

February 27, 2021 - Brillantes Rubinrot, glasklar, nicht der geringste Alterston. Grossartige Nase, Veilchen, Kamille, etwas Rosenblätter, Unterholz, Himbeere, Weichsel, einfach vielfältig. Der Gaumen ist ein Traum. Druckvoll in der Frucht, fast ein primärfruchtiger Jungwein - Himbeere, Weichsel, Herzkirsche, auch etwas Ribisel. Grossartige, tragende Säure, feingliedrige Tannine, etwas jünger und forscher als der parallel verkostete Sori Bordin von Fontanabianca. Ein toller Barbaresco, I love it!

June 12, 2020 - Wieder eine sehr schöne Halbflasche. Rosenblätter, Veilchen, Weichsel, Himbeere und Bittermandel in der Nase. Am Gaumen sehr forsche Tannine (auch etwas rustikal), tolle, frische Säure aber auch wirklich tolle, vollreife Frucht nach Brombeeren, Weichsel. Rosmarin und etwas Eukalyptus im Finale. 92
Eineinhalb Stunden später wird das ganz gross. Bullig/druckvoll in der Nase, ebenso grossartig bombig am Gaumen. Aromenprofil bestätigt sich, es wird nur alles breitschultriger und ausdrucksvoller. Ganz, ganz grossartig! 94
