April 5, 2024 - Final bottle. This is quite lovely dark fruits, graphite, woodsy. Bit of funk. Perfect with rich ragu. Drink now.

June 24, 2017 - Very nice, elegant and round. Black fruit, tobacco and some herbs. Drank straight from the bottle (no decanting). Very soft tannins.

Feels like heavy handed wine making; super extracted, uber ripe fruit. Lacks freshness. We tried and tried to like this but I couldn't even finish a single glass. Stood in sharp contrast to the Teroldego we drank on the mountain.
