February 20, 2018 - Fabulous older Burg. Fruit is no longer at the forefront, but still there. Lots of mushroom, earth, and mineral. The nose on this was amazing. Drank over 4+ hours. Got a little sharp and acidic at the end of the bottle.

November 16, 2013 - Thanksgiving dinner with wine group. Lovely plum, cedar, smoke and earth with dark stoned fruit on the nose, more of the same on the palate, hints of candy fruit and leather in the mouth, medium body and medium/long finish, at its peak, no first place votes, my third place.
