  December 25, 2023 - Fresh and savoury, tasting of sweet ripe red berry fruit underpinned with soft melting tannins to reveal some delicious milk chocolate on the finish. It was subtle, delicate and so charming, resonating with a very fine persistent finish. My last bottle alas, but a return to top form. CHP 93 pts

  August 1, 2023 - Raspberry and strawberry fruit, seasoned with spice developing a pleasing texture and silky mouthfeel. Sweet fruited, it retained a savoury profile through to a lingering finish. Not quite in the realm of my last bottle so perhaps my final remaining bottle now needs drinking up. CHP 90 pts

  December 25, 2022 - Initial notes of slightly cooked strawberries, red cherries, woodland undergrowth and truffles. Savoury, but with sweet fruit overlying an acidic spine. Peppery and spicy the initial soft tannins melted away to produce a silky sensuous texture and an elegant & long finish. Still vibrant, beautifully poised and giving great pleasure. Not quite in the realms of the last bottle I tasted a couple of months back, but still very fine. CHP 92 pts

  October 11, 2022 - Beautifully stated strawberry and red cherry fruit so deliciously juicy. Silky, refined and elegant, almost ethereal. Prior to the tasting I had begun to despair of this wine as the previous three bottles were very good but never quite hit the sweet point, but this did, and I have two remaining. Wonderful, wonderful red Burgundy. CHP 94 pts

  September 8, 2021 - This is classic 2010 stuff for me; the nose is bright red berry fruits, with lifted floral notes and a pungent minerally/earthy note. The palate is still actually a little tight though the fruit comes through reasonably well and the classic minerality that I often get from 2010s. Very lovely and pure stuff. Easily has another 5 years and likely many more beyond that. Good value wine here.
