Community Tasting Notes 2

February 15, 2014 - Picked up on WTSO a couple of years ago; didn't expect much. Decanted for about 4 hours. Pleasantly surprised - was so good that we opened the second bottle that I had in stock. Great finish. Highly recommend.

February 10, 2013 - The bottle was opened and allowed to breathe for about an hour. The nose has cassis, leather, cigar and spice box. On the palate the tannins and acidity are in good balance. The palate has a rather linear plum and currant with limited depth and complexity. Overall a good QPR daily drinker, but nothing more substantial than that.
