May 20, 2018 - Naso pieno di sfaccettature, intenso e balsamico, denso di piccoli frutti neri, spezie ed erbe aromatiche, più sottile che sfacciato. al palato fresco, sapido e abbastanza avvolgente, anche se meno di altre edizioni. Bel finale elegante. Gia' ottimo se aperto ora, può comunque attendere ancora in cantina.

Colore nero quasi impenetrabile. Naso sfaccettato, elegante, ricco di rimandi, di accenni e di richiami, sembra voler esplodere da un momento all'altro: evocativo.
Bocca decisa, tesa, saporosa, bel nerbo, ancora un po' tannica, lunga lunga lunga lunga, ritorna in loop nel cavo orale per tempo indefinito.
Ero molto curioso, non ho resistito è l'ho stappato ora, ma questo 2008 è un vino che esige almeno altri 3/4 anni di attesa. Ad oggi necessita di una buona ossigenazione (un paio di ore) prima di essere goduto. Ad ogni modo è senza dubbio un vino di notevoli qualità e di personalità avvincente, ben lontano dai triti stereotipi dei blend a base Merlot iper fruttati e morbidi.
Prezzo importante (33 euro), vino importante: merita.
October 21, 2013 - Retailer tasting: Beautiful bouquet with dark fruits and sweet spices. On the palate some earthiness, juicy acidity, a good concentration and a bit drying tannin. Will improve a bit with a few more years of ageing. Nice wine.
October 20, 2012 - Retailer tasting: Dark berry fruits, licorice, sweet spices and menthol in the bouquet as well as on the palate. Good balance between sweetness and acidity. The tannin is firm, but round and a bit drying. The type of acidity and tannin makes this wine a typical Italian Bdx-blend. Will improve with a few years of ageing; from 2014 onwards….?
