  January 23, 2014 - Beaujolais Trade Tasting 'The Glory of Gamay' with Tim Atkin MW (The Taj Hotel and Residences, Buckingham Gate, London, UK): Quite pronounced cappuccino and coffee notes on this, an increased level of tannin but is balanced by a sappy oiliness on the palate. The oak does jar a bit on the finish, not quite seamlessly integrated.

  October 16, 2013 - ENO American Bar restaurant (Madam Buttterfly). Limited note taking.
  Concentrated aroma of red berries carried forward with considerable power on to the palate; the dense fruit flavours balanced by just the right amount of acidity. Serious Beaujolais cru evolving Burgundian characteristics as the best do with age. Good value off the American Bar wine list and very popular with my fellow diners.
  The structure to hold for at least another couple of years and develop.
