April 30, 2013 - Dark and dense ruby like a Pauillac. Liqueur cherries and after time burnt treacle on the nose. Some chocolate and mocca on the palate but a little masked by too much alcohol (15.5%). Is this fortified? Still a complex wine with a good length and would pair with both a venison and chocolate lava cake.
