Community Tasting Notes 5

June 6, 2015 - Black cherry and pomegranate fruit, maybe even a hint of blueberry. A little bit of funkiness quickly gives way to some sweet oak tannin. Not a blind taste, so maybe biased toward the Bacigalupi Zin flavors. Good with teriyaki chicken.

10/16/2017 Raspberry & pomegranate fruit, didn't catch any blueberry this time. A little meatiness to go with the funk. Still liking this quite a bit, even if it's not quite a classic Pinot profile.

9/1/2018 Similar notes. Went really well with pulled pork.

July 23, 2013 - Nice mouth feel with some spice on the end. Good varietal characteristics. Balanced with good fruit and acidity. Good. Not great.
