February 8, 2024 - AW92. Wonderful aged RRV, give this 30 mins in the glass to come together - such a treat to experience this - at peak.

January 15, 2024 - Bottle discovered when moving wines to a new location. Not stored under optimal conditions in a crawlspace since release (50-70F temperature variations over the years).

Cork still intact and removed without problems. Partially bricked color, but still has good pigmentation. Spicy, acidic nose. Not much fruit left, but good acidity and complex, earthy/leathery/spicy flavors. Long finish.

Better than I had expected for a 14 year-old, not especially well-cared-for bottle.

May 31, 2023 - Thought we had waited too long to enjoy. Cork broke in half upon extraction but did not disintegrate. Had been stored horizontally at 54 degrees (Vinotemp) for over 12 years. We were pleasantly surprised, smooth yet still fruit forward character of Russian River Pinot Noirs. Definitely mellowed with age with just a touch of pepper. No sediment in bottle. Speaks well to the high quality of Williams Selyem wines.

May 1, 2023 - Cork crumbled. Had to filter and decant. Still impressive, a full bodied & robust pinot.
