Community Tasting Notes 4

December 24, 2019 - balanced and golden fruit, but doesnt really hit any of the thrilling notes for further ageing

October 9, 2017 - Fully mature delicious Erdener. This is ripe and denser than an average 15 year old Spatlese but remains poised. Light gold, tropical fruits. No rush but I don’t see it improving.

December 31, 2010 - I found this recently on clearance for $10 at a local wine shop, and I really wish I had bought both bottles! The nose is complex, with notes of petrol, floral, lychee, and mineral. The palette has flavors of lychee, pineapple, and juicy pear, with some mineral and floral notes as well. Very well balanced. Even though the alcohol content is low (7.5%), which implies a fairly high sugar content, it does not taste excessively sweet. Instead, it is a juicy, fruity wine.
