November 4, 2016 - Nice wine, a bit of alcohol burn as it was 15%+ ABV

October 4, 2014 - Deep bright yellow. Stroong oak with a lot of white mushroom. Thick peachy texture with dense tropical fruits (guava?) and chestnut. Slightly oxidative. Super concentrated and heavy (15.7%), but integrated and saline. 89-90.

February 7, 2014 - Light Gold-yellow. 15.7%abv. Initially very shy but more open aromas after 45 min. Aromas of golden apple, just ripe peaches, apricots and honeysuckle. Palate is mostly sherry-like mouthfeel with some mild oxidative qualities that push through a complex finish. I think the wine was just beginning to come out and should have decanted this. 89+ for now and see how it fairs on day 2.
