April 20, 2024 - Slow oxed for roughly 4.5 hours. This is a medium red wine with minimal sediment at the end of the bottle. On the nose, I get cherry, scrub, and strawberry notes. In the mouth, this is a plush and enveloping wine, displaying cherry sauce coupled with ripe red berries. The finish continues the theme, with lingering red fruit and a slight sweetness. Overall, I found this to be a modern Brunello, but one that was very nice today and should have some years left in the tank. 91 points.

June 30, 2023 - Decanted 1 hour. Consistent with previous bottle note.

March 29, 2023 - Decanted about an hour and it was good to go. Plenty of fruit, well-integrated, nice nose and palate, probably at peak. Enjoyed for a couple hours.

September 22, 2021 - Decanted 4 hours, which it needed. Nice on both nose and palate for a couple hours following until it was gone. Seems to have improved since previous notes, or maybe picked a better bottle, but in any event quite enjoyable.

February 27, 2021 - Decanted for 3+ hours. Decanting is recommended, both to open the wine a bit and to push off some of the sediment. This is a full-ruby-red wine. On the nose, I get cherries, rosehips, forest floor, and teriyaki sauce. In the mouth, the wine is clean and fully integrated with a solid beam of red fruit throughout. The finish is chewy and mouthwatering, displaying a few seconds of ash and more cherry elements. Overall, this is a very enjoyable wine. It is ready now with a few hours in a decanter. 92 points.
