March 29, 2023 - Dinner at Long Ji: My contribution. Suspect this suffered from some oxidation despite a perfect cork, others thought it was a Burg from the 80/90s. Was advanced in terms of colour and on the nose but on the palate it was a textbook Nebbiolo with high acidity and tannins, the structure became more apparent with air as it tightened up to show more youthfully.

February 18, 2022 - Wirkt in der Nase schon recht weit, medizinal, trockene Rosenblätter, kaum mehr Frucht, kein echtes Vergnügen. Am Gaumen in besserem Zustand, gute Säure, rote Frucht, schönes Extrakt, würzig, das Tannin ist noch präsent. Trotzdem etwas unsauber im Abgang, der Wein wirkt insgesamt etwas oxidiert.
Da meine erste Flasche komplett durch war tendiere ich dazu, dass die hier auch nicht ganz in Ordnung war, der Korken ging vielleicht auch einen Tick zu leicht raus. Deshalb keine Wertung, aber auch intakt nicht mehr als 90.
