Community Tasting Notes 2

March 7, 2014 - Not much of a nose. Very tight. Had a glass before the meal and was mostly getting tannins and lots of burn. After a few bites of food the wine came into its own. Still lots of heat but far bigger with more fruit and depth.

December 12, 2013 - Tasted along in the same night with Nebbiolo Fralù 2011 and Barbaresco 2010. Dinner at Slurp in Turin.

Unexpressive nose, classic but a little closed.
Young taste of vanilla, Ripe tannins, oak, oak oak, and nothing but oak.
I used to drink some past Bruno Rocca Barbaresco Rabajà, and the oak was lighter and more integrated.

Don't know how much it will soften with cellar time.

Really don't suggest to taste it now
