October 12, 2017 - I opened a bottle of this and found that it was good. Not being able to drink it all, I put it aside planning to finish the second half the following evening. As it turned out I wasn't able to and only got back to it on the 3rd evening. I can only say "wow". I'll make a proper note when I open the next bottle but for now 93 is probably conservative as this wine is still developing....

October 7, 2017 - Blood, game, bay leaf, iron, tree bark, and good acids all subordinate the fruit, which is delicate black raspberry. This is a masterful interpretation of a southern Rhone, but it won't appeal to everyone. I really like it.

Edit: after the bottle has been open for an hour, chocolate and sappy, juicy blackberry are coming to the fore on the palate.

September 10, 2017 - 2+ hour decant. Gorgeous nose with a lot of complexity. Crushed red berries, cedar, smoked meat, pencil shavings and campfire smoke. Still somewhat firm tannins, but not enough to detract from the pleasure of drinking this wine. Tart raspberry, cherry, bacon fat and dried herbs on the palate, with nice grip. Still a couple of years at least before fully ready, but damn enjoyable now. 93, with upside.

September 9, 2017 - Very good wine for the price of 14,5 Euro when I bought it on site in 2013. Buy again.
Seen for 299,- Dkr at http://www.vinslottet.dk/gigondas-ch-saint-cosme-2015-332001430752015.html - but would not pay 299 for it still...

August 25, 2017 - (Tasted after a 3-hour decant)...This was very pleasant; floral and perfumy, with fine, well-integrated tannins, full mouthfeel, and delicate mixed black fruits. I wish we had more than we do. Drink now if you have it.
