  April 12, 2020 - Still quite dark hue. Nose of tarry cherries, dried roses, hazelnuts, leather and gravel. On the palate, dark and chewy cherry fruit with an elegant dried floral streak and an echo of anise on the still somewhat austere finish. Nice development here, but I will wait at least 5 years before the next bottle.

  September 18, 2016 - This has improved quite some bit since last bottle, 2,5 years ago. Roses, spice and a solid QPR. 91+

  June 21, 2014 - Couldn't resist trying this again. Not much has changed since our last encounter. The wine is still red-fruited and quite spicy, with oak not fully integrated, and tannins still a bit tough. Works very well with food. Give it at least 4-5 years.

  March 30, 2014 - Surprisingly open. Light and delicate with sweet ripe fruit. Fine juice.

  January 12, 2014 - Quite deep in colour. Red-fruited, with hints of spice, herbs and flowers. Mouthfeel is quite tannic and tight, and at moment, this needs food. Good concentration and length. I will wait at least 2 years before opening another bottle.
