November 20, 2023 - This was rich and ripe, with some earthy forest floor, spice, dark cherry, still some noticeable tannins, but it didn't wow me. I'm ready to believe the hype, but there is much better wine out there for much less.

November 19, 2023 - Utregs Wijnhuis tasting Exclusief (Utrecht, NL): This is of course insanely overpriced on the secondary market. Given its pedigree (a fine but nothing special NSG 1cru vineyard) a good wine, given its current price tag (around €400-500 I believe) it does not make sense. Still nice to drink, quite ripe with deep cherries, black currant, oak noticeable. Medium+ acidity, medium+ finish. Whole bunch, 50% new wood.

March 23, 2022 - This had a great nose of dark berries, raspberry blueberries, and a silky palate which has structure but with fairly resolved tannins. Delicious!

May 7, 2020 - this still smells and tastes quite young.
nose has eucalyptus, forest floor and dark dark berries.
taste has lots of cherry, barnyard, still a fair amount of tannin.
