November 21, 2023 - Reticent blackberry nose, with very pure dark berry flavors on the palate.
Admirable complexity for a 13 year old Savigny.
A really well made wine and a pleasure to drink.
Will be curious to re-visit in the next 3-5 years.

September 8, 2023 - Deep to mid garnet. Fully mature and more evolved than a bottle two years ago, though in a far better state than a doa bottle six months ago. Mellow, sous bois, more than a touch of the autumnal. Very pleasant but the fruit is now a tertiary profile. Drink up. A good match with Zürcher Geschnetzeltes and rösti. ***1/2

April 8, 2023 - Mid garnet. A touch of creamy hot chocolate VA on the nose initially, with an evolved and somewhat flat, overly mature wine underneath. First bottle from the case a couple of years ago was excellent for its level, but this bottle is overly mature and disappointing.

September 24, 2022 - Great showing. Consumed over two nights and held well. Classic Beaune rockiness with cool fruit from a riper vintage. Open and showing well. Drink 'em if you got 'em.

March 26, 2021 - First look at this, and it’s developing nicely. Primary fruit has been relaxed to a savoury, quite earthy profile with a touch of sous bois. Nicely vital and poised. There’s a lot of wine here for village SLB. Ready but no hurry. ****
