March 21, 2021 - Decanted 1 hour. Red, brick red. At first a bit muted nose with black cherry, plum, mineral & earth, palate. Opened nicely over next hour plus, nose showed the same fruit profile, picking up some red fruit freshness as palate sang a bit more. Nicely balanced acidity, integrated tannin together provided good definition, moderate length with a lovely crisp finish. Seemed a notch up over prior bottle, two years ago. Enjoyable. I'd say drinking nicely, ready to go.

August 10, 2019 - Pure, med intense brick red. Dry, med+ acid, med(+) tannins, med body and intensity. A bit alcoholic. Red fruits but also some tertiary notes. Long finish. Very good.

    Drink.

My notes: Red berries, mushrooms, vanilla, spices, rose petals, black olive, herbs.

February 23, 2019 - Decanted 1 hour, drank over course of dinner, another 1.5 hours or so.
Concur with WMCONE54, particularly 'mineral laden earth with tart cherry, spicy raspberry'. Overall tightly wound, with a bit of loosening up over 2.5 hours. Fairly muted nose, balanced but mineral/acid/earth was salient in palate with fruit taking something of a backseat, though that tart black cherry sang throughout. I'd let it rest further.

December 20, 2018 - Clear, bright medium ruby color and medium body. Although early in the drinking window, this wine requires a decant and lots of air. Very pungent and savory, developing aromatics and flavors leading with decaying leaves; and red, charred, mineral laden earth with tart cherry, spicy raspberry, and ripe strawberry poised more in a supporting role. Great intensity, solid complexity, and excellent balance; plenty of acidity to support at least another 4-5 years in the cellar. I’d be more concerned with the fruit fading well before the structure. Finished long. Enjoy with oily fish, game, or roasted meats. Upside potential.
