March 28, 2013 - Substantial notes of mushrooms and soil that subsided after an hour or so, but still remained somewhat excessive to the end of the bottle.

May 29, 2012 - Nose is a bit sweet on this when first opened, think fresh raisins or plum skin. Did become more interesting and complex after 30 minutes, trending toward some sweet wood notes I couldn't quite identify. Clear red, but moves in glass with grace. A bit warm on the initial, with more sweet fruits and touches of cherry pits in the middle, finishing with pronounced leather, stone, and more spicy fruit. If you like more fruit, less earth, you'll enjoy this.
